Facing What We Avoid
Facilitated by Gail Warner
We automatically avoid things as children to protect ourselves. So we carry with us conditioned patterns of avoidance. We avoid things that are uncomfortable or painful, and often fear what is unknown. This workshop provides an opportunity to reflect on;
-What We Avoid
-Why We Avoid
-The Cost of Avoidance
There are often hidden gifts mixed in with our avoidance. Learning to face our fears and what we learned to reject can help us reclaim parts of life that have remained hidden from us.
This series is a deeper dive into Facing What We Avoid. This follows an introduction to this theme that we offered last month.
Join us for this exploration— a time to ask questions and share with others. Gail will guide this journey as we find new pathways.
“You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality.” ~Ayn Rand
